Spring Portraits: The Rhea Family

I met Amber in this very park while we were both shooting separate sessions one autumn. We were trying to avoid being in each others backgrounds while trying to both take advantage of the best fall color. We had a brief moment of introduction and best wishes before parting ways. I soon checked out her work and fell. in. love. I emailed her about photographing our newborn portraits for my daughter. Being the sweet girl that she is, she agreed (even though she just had a baby of her own a month before!). We have since taken turns photographing each other’s families and its been the greatest honor.

When she messaged me to grab a slot for family portraits before we moved, of course I said YES! I was so excited to get to see this crew again. Their boys are so fun and precious. When I met them at the park yesterday, their three-year-old greeted me with “Hi! How are you?” We had the most gorgeous Spring day to spend a few minutes at the park capturing these. I’ll be sad to leave such amazing clients behind. But I am grateful for the gorgeous photos we have to show for our session. Enjoy!
